Longest Run of the Year

Fifteen miles at the perfect pace this morning -- just under 9.00 minute miles. Along the Forth and Clyde canal from the house, through Clydebank. Past the beautiful Bowling Basin, and onto the Lomond cycle path turning at a point just beyond the dog and cat facility at Milton -- almost where the road turns left into Dumbarton. A cool start, turning into a warm sunny morning -- fairly burned away the excesses of the last two days at the the Liberal Democrats conference in Perth -- and a good confidence builder for Balloch to Clydebank next weekend -- now I just need to find some pace from somewhere !!!!
