Ran the above in a time of around 1.44. Almost three minutes better than Balloch to Clydebank. My Garmin measured the course at 13.28 and averaged my time at 7.50 a mile -- but these things are notoriously approximate. Very happy with my performance -- felt strong the whole way -- indeed I ran the last mile in around 7.5 minutes. I feel back on form for the first time since the sinus infection floored me in June. My chums, the Clydesdale Harriers, cleaned up on the prizes. They produced the race winner, won the male and female teams and my pal Anne Murray got the prize for the 2nd lady vet.
