Well I did run the 5-miler after doing my Bodypump class in the morning and it was a good decision. It resulted in a time of 35.17 -- a new PB for that distance. The race is a little different -- the killer Cleveden hill is no longer on the route -- still there are a couple of fairly tough slopes. I started just a little fast perhaps and slowed a little in the last half-mile, but the club training is really paying dividends. I'll be joining Bella this Monday -- so hopefully the improvement will continue. P.S. Marina Kath and my Clydesdale Harrier chums went south for the Brampton to Carlisle 10 mile road race. Marina ran an excellent 71.45.
