TOM SCOTT ROAD RACE

One member took part in the Tom Scott Road Race at Strathclyde Park on Sunday April 11. A disappointing 1.14.28-- over three minutes slower than the last time he ran it in 2002. The disappointment was allevaited somewhat after scrutiny of the official reasult showed that the overall times were arouind 4.00" slower than last year. The course has been changed because the local police refused to steward it. A complaint has gone to the local member of the Scottish Parliament -- who also happens to be the first minister.
