New PB by 7" on Sunday. 1.35.41 Good consistently paced run, was aiming for 7.15 a mile actually achieved something like 7.17. Bang on target for the first 6 miles including that tricky first mile. At this point we hit canal bank with no mile markers and I lost focus a little and lost time. By 10 miles I knew I was behind so I picked up the pace for the last three and managed a sprint finish on the long closing straight. I ran a similar pace at Heleneburgh last year -- happy to have held on to it for the first half of the year. Next target sub-1.35 at the Glasgow half. Thanks again Danielle for the pic !
