Getting Excited

Don't often get excited about half marathons -- but I am really looking forward to London. Got my number, the flights are organised -- family visits planned. Only downside is that Colin my son is injured and can no longer run. Piriformis is under control and I had a really good 10 mile run yesterday -- one of those runs where you feel good and strong the whole way. A bit of a disaster last night --I stubbed my toe quite badly on the wooden bed-frame. It's the small toe on my right foot and at the moment it is twice its normal size, swollen and badly bruised. It should be ok by Sunday -- nothing broken. Yes I know I am incredibly clumsy -- always was, probably always will be. Missing my nights with Bella -- only two more weeks to go and I should be able to get back at least 1 night a week.

We're missing you too Norman! Glad to hear things are improving and sounding good for the race. Hope the toe will see some sense and sort itself out so not a hindrance.
