Touch of Tendonitis

Postponed my 22 mile long run for a week after developing a touch of tendonitis at the front of my left ankle -- caused, believe it or not, by my shoelaces being too tightly tied on my last 20 miler. Diagnosed by Christine at Achilles Heel. Nothing too much to worry about I can still run the shorter distances so I'll be at the club Monday and Wednesday. Did a really tough spin class at Greens this morning instead. Icing and stretching at the moment -- it's getting better day by day. A bit of juggling with the marathon schedule required -- I'll do the Glasgow half next Sunday and the 22 miler the following Wednesday, 16 miles the following Sunday and I'm back on target only having missed one long run. Whew !!! PS feels like the posterior tibial tendon is affected.
