Good result at the Edinburgh half marathon. 1.36.36 -- just 30 seconds outside my PB. Very happy with the result given that I raced on Thursday. My pal Emma who ran with me got a cracking 3.00 minute improvement on her PB with a stunning 1.36.46 -- my other mate Tonia ran a brilliant 1.39.40. Lots of guys suffered out on the marathon course. The race started a little later than usual to accomodate the new half. They ran in scorching sun -- well done to all of them. Big thanks to Colin and Shona; and Ian Goudie for support out on the course -- he pops up everywhere !!!
