Spent a lot of time planning and executing the TV coverage of Jimmy Reid's funeral this week. A job well done even though I say so myself and a privilege to be involved. My personal memory of that time was as a young boy of fifteen being out in the town with my mates and seeing this big march coming down the street -- we joined in of course. That was the kind of thing 15-years olds did in those days -- it was the UCS march ! Rest in Peace Jimmy.
