Review of the Year

Visual review of what turned out tobean interesting year -- due to a combination of pressure of work and injury.  I haven't run as much as I would have liked  - no marathon this year after a calf injury and I had to pull out of a race for the first time ever.  A torn calf muscle does make you stop running !  Three months of injury recovery, in September, October and November, but back on track in December.  Having said that I ran a good 10 miler, half marathon and 5k and my fitness has had a much better balance this year with spinfit cross-training core work, weight training and various strengthening exercises-- not to mention proper stretching -- in fact all the things runners are supposed to do but always manage to avoid. Cannae complain. PS the non-running sessions are not reflected in this bar chart --only mileage.
