Dear Alan
Once again I ran the Anglesey Marathon .. and once again I ask myself why the organisers do not reverse the course. (the Llangefni hill from mile 21 – 23 is very painful and not exactly a motivating factor to make one want to return) Who do we aching marathon runners have to lobby to have some debate ( at least ) on whether next year we can turn right out of the showground instead of left? If any other runners feel the same way please drop Alan an e mail (if you put me in cc I might even start a petition) Also how about a half marathon in 2008 ?
Best regards
Andy
Seems I'm not the only one who found it challenging :-) I can see where he's coming from -- but as you can see from the profile below if you reverse the race you are still left with a pretty stiff hill at the end. Hey Ho !!!!
