Five intrepid Bellas made the trek over the border to Carlisle. Good little race -- fast course with an overall drop I suspect, but a couple of cheeky wee hills in there to spice up the mix. Results were: Mark McGoldrick 1.09.50; Norman Boyle 1.13.56; Tom McMillan 1.18.08; Colin Dalglish 1.18.51; Carla Deans 1.34.22. My Clysdesdale Harrier chums ran well, Marina setting a new PB for that course and Kath going from strength to strength with 1.09.09 only 7" behind Anne Murray. Happy with that result at this stage of the season. I reckon it would translate at worst to a 1.36.30 half -- which is only just over half a minute outside my PB.Photo courtesy of Carla.
