I think I am competing for the Bella Race Face of the Year award -- when I see a finishing post I tend to growl and pick up for a sprint finish. Anyway my best 10k in years on Sunday -- sub 42.30 -- time to be confirmed when the official results come out -- yes the dodgy old Garmin decided to chuck it with a few hundred metres to go. I ran the first mile just a little to quickly around 6.35 after that I steadied. To be honest I felt neither up nor down after the race -- that indicates I judged it just right, or I could have put more effort in and had a new PB. Great results for my Bella team mates Mark with a good sub 40 and Shona with just over 40. Clydesdale Harriers had a good day with Marina getting around 40.30 -- changed days from when we were neck and neck. Pic by Claire Thompson. PS got my official chip time 42.17. That'll do nicely.
