Edinburgh Marathon

Well -- it's come and gone. How am I feeling this morning -- a little deflated. Even though I know my decision to pull out was the right one -- risk of further injury, not achieving the goal I had set myself etc etc, I am a runner and as I saw off my friends and stood at the start ready to take the pictures -- I wanted to be in there with them -- injury or not. That must make me a runner !!! Anyway the day was not about me. A great day, some great performances by my fellow Bellas, and best of all for me a good first marathon from my friends Louise and Jackie. The picture of them crossing the finish line together -- epitomises the joy of marathon running for me and sums up the whole day. And I did get some great pictures
