Congrats to my big pal and fellow Bella Mark McGoldrick who ran the Belfast City Marathon in a stunning 03:14:08. Well done big fella. On a less positive note -- I have officially pulled out of the Edinburgh Marathon. I have been able to run once since the injury -- there is really no point in struggling round Edinburgh and risking further injury for a pretty poor performance. I have too many other plans this year -- including trying for a good time in the Glasgow Half and running against my big son Colin in the inaugural London Half. I'll be there on the day providing top class support and shooting some pretty good pictures ! I have telling people there are always plenty of marathons but you only have one leg -- until someone pointed out the obvious -- I actually have two legs -- well you know what I mean !!!

More Marathon News
