Down by the River 10k
First race in a long time this morning at Cambuslang. Very happy with 45.07.15. Beautiful clear day -- but very cold. Bit of a performance finding my way to the rugby club and then from there to the race start -- but it was worth it. Small turnout of Bellas, --Mark, Gordon and Alistair -- with a late Jim running without a number. Good to catch up with my Clydesdale Harrier chums also. Scotch pies afterwards -- what could be better. Tactically I ran the first mile way too fast at 6.42 and paid for it in mile 5-6 which took 7.40. Apart from that a good run.

Nice one Norman. I'd entered Cambuslang too but given that I'm doing the Devil's Burden in Fife next month I opted for another adventure today.
Read it and weep. I did.
