Tough, hilly three lap race, Cold, muddy, fierce wind -- in fact classic cross country. Great fun although it didn't feel like that as I came up the hill at the finish for the third time.. It didn't kill me and I wasn't last -- despite the quality of the field. Job done. The club did well winning 3rd lady, 3rd Ladies Vet and 3rd male. In the team competitions the men’s team came 2nd and the ladies 3rd. Oh by the way it took me 45.07 -- including a stop to tie a shoelace -- most annoying that -- if it hadn't happened I'd have broken 45 minutes. Pic of me courtesy of Danielle Glendinning.

Renfrewshire AAA Individual Cross Country Championships
Tough, hilly three lap race, Cold, muddy, fierce wind -- in fact classic cross country. Great fun although it didn't feel like that as I came up the hill at the finish for the third time.. It didn't kill me and I wasn't last -- despite the quality of the field. Job done. The club did well winning 3rd lady, 3rd Ladies Vet and 3rd male.
