Parkrun Number 10

10th Parkrun completed at Pollok Park on Saturday -- run as part of a 10 mile long run. First race since the recurrence of calf problems and the first in my Nike compression socks with gel arch supports in my Asics 1150s. Had a fun competiton with the Fantastic Four, Supervets Ian Goudie, Watson Jones, Murdoch Rodgers and somewhat immodestly -- myself. Finished at the back of the pack this time -- having made a tactical mistake by overtaking Ian and Watson on the big downhill during the first loop. Sadly I'm not quite back to full fitness and I wasn't able to hold on to the lead being overtaken by all three over the last kilometre -- next time :-)
