Back on form today for the Bella 5k --sponsor Achilles Heel -- see links on the right for a look at their excellent website. Finished in 20.49 -- right back on form and only one second behind my old mate Murdoch Rodgers who has been trouncing me all season ! Tried to do 4 minute kilometres and succeeded pretty much for the first four -- lost it over the last one. Still no complaints. Next week Paisley Pattern 10k -- must keep up the speedwork -- it's paying off. PS Many Thanks to Katie and Sam from Achilles Heel for their cheering and encouragement -- it made all the difference girls !!!
PPS Thanks to Marina and Kath from Clydesdale Harriers for their company. They ran the race today despite running a 10k yesterday at the Bute Highland Games -- club runners, what are they like ???
