Great day out at the Drumchapel 5k today. Very hilly course -- ran a respectable 21.25 ish -- but the emphasis of the day was FUN FUN FUN !!! Peter from the Donald Dewar Centre and his assistants did a stunning warm up as Abba -- you really suit that wig Pete !! Loads of kids, mums and families took part. The race was really well-organised, well stewarded and there was loads for the kids to do before and after the race. This is the second year the community has organised the race -- it's a very worthwhile event. This year it will be on local community TV -- watch this space for a link.
