Mudbath

46.07 for the Jack Crawford 10k run mostly along the canal paths close to the Leisuredrome at Bishopbriggs. A total mudbath, horrendous wind, torrential driving rain -- for the certifiably insane only. I must confess I loved it !!!!! Had hoped to get something around 44 minutes but it was not to be. It will be interesting to see how the winning times have been affected. Happy that my ankle held up. I damaged it slightly at my regular Friday circuit class -- sprinting to beat an 18-year-old. A double elastic bandage with a layer of Tiger Balm underneath did the trick. By the way I did beat the 18-year old !!!
