Jack Crawford 10k

Very happy with a 43.25 at the Jack Crawford 10k. Very tricky, icy conditions underfoot, and a congested canal towpath made it not the easiest race in the calendar. A good turnout of Bellas with some pretty good results. My big pal Mark McGoldrick got an incredible 41.32 and Ian Goudie 43.04. My chums from Clydesdale ran well Kath with 41.45 and Marina 41.56. Anne Murray who's getting back into racing after a lay-off 43.16. A good day all round especially since I thought I had run 44 -- ineptitude with the watch - I'm not really technologically challenged.
PS Checked the records -- my time for this race last year was 46.07 and indeed my best 10k in 07 was 43.13 -- good start to the season.
