Kirkintilloch Olympians 12.5k

Hilly, windy and very tough -- but huge fun. Three Bellas myself, Ian Goudie and David Weatherhead took part in this unusual distance. I finished in 58.53 -- not my fastest, but very happy given the conditions. There was a lot of wind -- it seemed to be constant in your face for the first 8k. 8-10 was a little more sheltered, then back into the wind for the last 2.5. And don't mention the hill at 7k. David finished well ahead of me - and Ian about half a minute behind. Good run from David given that he had run the National XC championships the day before. Good to meet up with former Bella Dougie Lamont on his first outing in his new Inverness colours.
