Wet, windy and very hilly -- but a thoroughly enjoyable 10k at Rouken Glen Park. Happy with a time of 46.22. I judged the pace pretty well, getting up the hills pretty smartly with enough energy to take advantage of the long downhill stretch. Came 2nd in my age group -- happy with that. Appalling weather all day took its toll on the numbers, bad luck for the organisers as it is a great event.
