Tom Scott 10 Mile Road Race

Very satisfied with 77 minutes and change for this cracking event round the picturesque sailing loch in Strathclyde Park. A Bella club championship race and a Scottish Veterans fixture meant there was a good turnout of club runners. By no means my fastest time for this distance butI felt I couldn't have run the race any better on the day -- it doesn't really get much better than that. Full marks for  the marshall who ran with me to hand me some water after I dropped a cup at the water station -- service second to none. Special mention for Murdoch Rodgers who ran a cracking race and finished a good minute ahead of me. A cult event.   Special thanks to clubmate Chi who managed to get some cracking pictures using my little "candybar " compact camera.
